Our launch event held on the 12th February 2004 at the Gordon Institute of Business Science was a huge success. We were extremely well supported by our partners, clients, industry contemporaries and the media. In addition, it was a great pleasure to show our hospitality and share our exciting announcements with our international partners from Group 1, Dick Kakebeeke and Jon Green.

It was a very early start to the day, but nothing that the beautifully fresh coffee and delicious breakfast didn’t make up for.

The MC for the morning was SABC 3’s Business Focus and Business Update, Leanne Manas, who did a wonderful job! She certainly put smiles on the faces of our guests with her relaxed presentation style and personable composure – a big thank you to Leanne for joining us and for adding to the excitement of the day.

Susan Andre, Alicornio Africa’s MD gave a brilliant presentation on the history of Sagent, which was followed by an extremely well received unveiling of the new Alicornio Africa. Susan explained the transition from Sagent Southern Africa and went on to detail aims and ambitions for the new company, Alicornio.

Following Susan’s presentation, Dick Kakebeeke from Group 1 in the U.S.A announced that Alicornio would be distributing the advanced Doc 1, Customer Communications Management software solution, and gave a brief overview of how this cutting edge product effectively works.

The morning ended on a high note, with many congratulations and soaring spirits.
