Sagent wins 2000 CRM Excellence Award

Sagent Technology has won the 2000 CRM Excellence Award from Technology Marketing Corp (TMC), the premier source of news and product information for the customer relationship management (CRM) industry. TMC publishes Communication Solutions, C@ll Center CRM Solutions and Internet Telephony magazine.

The CRM Excellence Award is a new award honouring companies that are the vanguard of the CRM industry with their innovative products. The selection process was conducted by editors of all the TMC publications and was based on criteria such as the breadth of companies using the vendor’s CRM products and its overall leadership position in the CRM marketplace. “Our editors selected Sagent Technology for its innovation and vision, as well as for the outstanding impression it’s made among market constituents,” says Rich Tehrani, president and group editor-in-chief, TMC. “The CRM Excellence award is designed to honour companies with innovative products that have furthered customer relationship management. We are pleased to award Sagent our highest honour in recognising its exemplary contribution to the industry.”

Sagent’s most recent contribution is Centrus Real-Time, the newest extension to the Centrus product line from Sagent and the first XML-based Internet information service that dynamically delivers value-added information at the point of customer interaction, such as call centres and websites, to help companies make smarter business decisions. Centrus Online provides the same access to external information as Centrus Real-Time, but is designed to handle large files of information rather than single record requests.
